Life isn't fair. Not to me at least.
Just when my life seems to settle into a simple routine life starts laughing and throws another curve ball my way. A man from my past. A man I once ran to for protection and quiet love. I can't fall back into our old ways. I can't allow him to get close, but when he sets his mind to something nothing is going to make him back off. He's intent on honoring the vow he made to me and my brother so long ago. I can't let him close.
